this information about all.employees so in this video we will see.how this template works and how we can.use it so this is our excel template we.have three sheets in this template the.first is the settings and then we have.employees and print so we are in the.settings sheet where the first step is.to make sure that we have our company.information in this set of fields so the.first one is a company name and then if.you want to print the activity.completion dates then we will choose yes.this is by default but if you don't want.to you can choose now and then we enter.the list of employee activities this is.the list of activities that each.employee has to complete in order to.complete onboarding as a new employee.now after you enter the list of.activities we can go to the employee.sheet and this is where we would enter.the employee information so each.employee is in a separate row and then.we enter their basic information such as.the date of joining the title department.manager and office location and you can.rename any of these fields and use it to.store any other information that you.want about the employee and then the.next set of columns are activity.completion date columns and these for.example the first one is the attend new.employee orientation is the first.activity that we entered in the settings.so that comes up here and so these have.formulas so these cells are formulas so.please don't edit them but basically you.will have all the activities listed here.and you can ignore that and then just.enter the dates here for each employee.so employee one complete.new employee orientation on 5th June.completed the i-9 form on 6th June so as.each employee is completing each.activity and then it can be entered here.in each of these columns so it can track.up to 12 different activities in this.case we are only using nine activities.in this sample and that's why we see.only nine being populated but you can.have up to 12 okay completed.divided by number of activities in total.and you can see that this employee has.completed 33% and if I choose another.employee who has completed all it will.show 100% and then if the employee has.completed all the stages you will see.the checklist completed date appear here.otherwise it will be blank the this.section here is where we can.enter information which will provide.additional information or resources to.our new employee just as a placeholder.and provided basic contact information.for support or health and then links to.new employee resources on the intranet.if there is available so you can use it.to customize it for your business or you.can choose to right-click and clear.contents so they will disappear and it.won't appear while printing so this
