Hello everyone and welcome to this.very informative video on how to submit an application through E-permits for the temporary outdoor.outdoor expansion in city of Denver..Hopefully before this point you guys obtained your approval from the city authority once you submitted the initial.Interest form so you would have had to submit the initial interest form prior to this portion of the process..So if you have not done that interest form yet on our main web page.under the - if you go to DenverGov.org and then just type in \"Temporary Outdoor Expansion\".it will take you to the web page will show you the form.you need to fill out and get the approval prior to doing the E-permit application..So if you have not done that yet,.please do not do this stuff yet because we would need you to get the approval from the interest form first..But if you have done that you have created your account for E-permits,.we will find ourselves here on this main page here as a Denver's Permitting and Licensing Center..And you see here I'm logged in and if you guys have any trouble.getting your account set up,.please send us an email and we can kind of help you walk through the process of setting up an account, it's fairly easy..Our email is DOTIpermitoperations@denvergov.org.Again our email is DOTIpermitoperations@denvergov.org.Permit Operations (plural) at Denver Gov dot org..We will begin..So there is a series of tabs here. So we're gonna select the right-of-way tab..And....Under the Right-of-Way tab, there are some.sub-categories here like Create an Application, Search Application Schedule a ROW Inspection. So right now we're going to select \"Create an Application\".This is just a general disclaimer page, it just talks about the online application and giving you a nice warm welcome here..And so ultimately you'll just select this box that says \"I have read and accepted the above terms\"..Continuing application....So the Temporary Outdoor Offer of Expansion....takes place under a public works record as the permit type for the Right-of-Way Permit. So you'd select this bubble here.Just make sure the bubble is selected next to Public Works Record and you'll just hit Continue the Application..So the Step 1 of setting up the E-permit application as a contacts page so they do not need a....You do not need to complete the licensed professional portion because you do not need a license to complete this application..You just need to complete the applicant portion here..So you just hit select from account because the system auto populates your information when you setup your account.initially at the beginning. So it'll save your information..So you should be able to select form account.so you don't have to type all that stuff again, and then you see here.Your contact information was added successfully and then the site contact. I'm going to choose myself for this demo..But if you definitely want to choose someone else, there was and add new person here or add new button here..So basically you just have to select \"add new\" and then you just add the new site contacts..But if you want to select yourself, you can do that as well.then hit Continue Application. So the second step is the project address so this is going to be the address of your restaurant, your establishment. So you will enter the street number here. So for example I'm going to use the City of Denver office, which is 2000 3rd Avenue. And it's searching....Okay, and as you can see here add the parcel number. So we do need a parcel number here because it's imperative.that that appears as it lets the inspectors know that there's an inspection for your permit. So if there is no parcel number that has populated here,.please follow these instructions along with this link where you will enter your address to find the.Associated Parcel, and then manually enter the schedule number.here and.Once you enter the schedule number, then you would just get \"Continue Application\".So this is now the project info. So this is a very, very important step.So it is imperative that I have the fullest attention from you guys..This is some information that will definitely ensure the smooth processing of your permit,.so the purpose of our prep of.request is going to be....Temporary Outdoor Expansion and. Then you will select the project type as Safety. And the additional comments here we need for you guys to please put COVID.as it will ensure that.the city knows to waive your fees..And then we need a project start date here. So basically that'll be the date that you desire for the start of the permit.so we strongly discourage you from.selecting a date that will be the next day or the next couple days because we want to.make sure you guys know that it's going to take a little bit to process these applications..So I'm gonna be safe and I'm gonna select a week from today, which would be the 12th..And the project end date will be the 7th of September..For my permit to end..So the occupancy table can be a little bit confusing, but....hopefully this video will make it a little bit easier for you guys to enter the information.so in order to.enter the information here, you have to add a row and what the occupancy table does is it lets us know exactly where you're occupying.so we know where the permit is located for inspection reasons and obviously for safety reasons..So as I mentioned to you guys I use the example of the office address.which is 2000 W. 3rd Avenue, so in this scenario, I am sitting on W. 3rd Avenue. So that's where I'm actually locating the parking lane on West 3rd Avenue. So I'm going to fill out this section here and this section here demonstrates where you are located. So I'm going to say I am sitting on West 3rd Avenue. And it looks like Umatilla is the streets that are north and south of me.So Umatilla.is.the street that it's firm.where the.closure starts and then mark Tejon is where the closure ends..So basically you'll tell us where you're located, where you're actually occupying, and then where the closure starts and where the closure ends..so the.applicable types for this permit is the parking lane, the tree lawn and the sidewalk in front of your.establishment or adjacent to your establishment..Please double check our main web page again with the Temporary Outdoor Expansion.that we have going on for the City of Denver just to make sure that you know the types that you can apply for.But right now I'm going to choose \"Residential Parking \"Lane\".and.I'm going to show you the length of closure feet here. Being that this is red asterisk, it is requiring a value,.so you guys can put any value that you choose if there is any.conflicts or any concerns we'll definitely.contact you guys, let you guys know, but for right now I'm going to put my standard 100 closure..and.Then the date start.needs to match what you put originally in the application, which is when you want the permit to start. So I'm going to choose the 12th..of June and then I'm gonna choose my date so....Keep in mind this portion of.E-permits can kind of jump around a little bit. So if it jumps around on you like I just did here,.just keep filling in the information where it says it's missing. Don't freak out, you're fine..I don't know why it does that, but it's does that a little bit..Sometimes let's see....Okay, so once you have all the information filled out completely and accurately just double check real quick.Just take the time, take a couple seconds and hit submit..I have added my occupancy table. So basically I'm letting the City of Denver know where I'm occupying. So I'm occupying on.West 3rd Avenue.Between North Umatilla and North Tejon. So I'm sitting here and my closure starts here and here, okay.So then if there's multiple locations and you'll just continually add a row or if there's different dates,.then you can copy a row and just change the dates and....The window that pops up but if that's just the only ROW that you need you can continue on to ROW Construction Details.which you do not need to complete. So if you do not need to complete this because this is not a portion of the permits..Neither is this. So these two are not applicable. So you can just hit Continue Application..And....This is step four. So step four is where you will upload your documents..So we need two very crucial documents..So we need the site plan. So the site plan can be hand drawn, doesn't need to be an architectural drawing..It does not need to be super super fancy, but we do need to be able to read it,.It does need to be legible and it does need to.demonstrate what part of the public thoroughfare that you are trying to occupy or that you were requesting to occupy, rather. So we need that to be attached, we would need the cross streets and the streets labeled on the site plan..We would also need the certificate of insurance which the City and County of Denver.DOTI - Department of Transportation and Infrastructure.needs to be the.additionally insured party on the certificate of insurance. If you guys have any questions or you need a sample example,.there is one on the website..Under the temporary outdoor expansion or you can obtain a sample from us by emailing our email box.which is DOTIpermitoperations@denvergov.org..And we can email you the sample.COI or Certificate of Insurance that we have..So once you have those two things added. So once you hit add, it'll bring up this window here....that says file upload, So it should pull the files from your computer..So I'm just gonna select two random documents here just for the sake of the demo..So here's one. Let's say that's the site plan. We're gonna add the other one. Let's say it's the.Certificate of Insurance.Okay, so once I've added those two I'm gonna hit continue.so the document type....should say applications. So then let's say this is the site plan and. Then again, this is gonna say applications. And then this is going to be the certificate of insurance..You can abbreviate COI. You know what COI is on this end. But if you want to type it out that's perfectly fine..And then just hit save..Please please please make sure you hit save because I'm not sure if the system automatically saves your application..I hit save, so I'm just makes you hit save to make sure those.documents upload..And just hit \"Continue Application\".So the step 5 is the review page.So basically it is a page that tells you that you can review all the information that you entered into the computer..If you notice here, this is the \"Save and resume within 30 days\". That button has been appearing on a.few of the pages, if not all the pages of the application..So in the event that you don't have all the information,.Or if you don't have the attachment, you do have the option to save and resume within 30 days..I am gonna create a separate review video on how to save a review and resume....the application and where to find that application after you've already saved it. So.Basically helping you guys locate the storage of the application and the E-permits website..But right now we're gonna act like this is complete. You have all the information you need..We need to certify that all the information above is true, complete and correct. So we're gonna hit this box here..And then we're gonna hit \"Continue Application\" and see if date stamps it..Okay guys, so yeah, this is a very.important page because it displays your permit number which will be located here. So I.highly recommend you can jot this number down. You can print this page for confirmation or I can also show you.actually at the end of this video where you can find your actual permit number. And the E-permits website where you signed in..So this is just saying it has been submitted for review..So that means that it is going to go through our intake team or intake team will assign it to one of our Tech's.And then we will be in contact with you guys shortly thereafter..But this is what a complete submittal looks like, so it should take you to step seven.that basically is a demonstration of the record was submitted as complete..No incomplete information and it looks good. So then there's the record number here..So let me show you guys exactly where you can find your permit number..So if you go back to home - back at the home page - and you go under.\"My Records\" here. You can click this arrow down and it'll say Right of Way and.then it'll show your permit here and it will show you the status here in progress..You can also click into the record and you can see the record info..You can see the payments that were made..That's one way to find your records..If you ran down the PW permit number,.you can also type it in here and that's another way you can find it. Like 2020.PW.0 0 1 1 6 8 3 was mine..So it will automatically put you into the record, so here is my sample record here..So those are two ways that you can definitely locate your record..I'll be creating a separate video to show you guys how to save and resume your applications later, but this is....the application and hopefully this was helpful for you..Let us know if you have any questions. You can definitely reach us by email - DOTIpermitoperations@denvergov.org.Thank you, guys!.
