Cri 400 Form Demand Assistance

guys it's Laura welcome back to my.podcast creative Millennials they have a.really special guest I haven't seen her.in quite a while but I'm really excited.to introduce her so I'm gonna let my.guests introduce herself and then tell.me a little bit about herself yeah so.I'm gonna be sherry literally last time.I saw you was high school so it's so.good to see you again but I'm 19 years.old.firing social-media influencer so I just.called her in today we're just gonna.talk a little bit about like her ideal.platform and her following and she's.just gonna tell us a little bit about.like what she's been doing that me.[Music].yeah so um lately I want an Emma in.school I studied at U of T and so I'm.doing a double major in philosophy in.art history I guess you could say it's.something I'm not really interested in.interested I would say more just I guess.social media attracts me more and I.guess philosophy is not something I.really want to do for the rest of my.life but I definitely enjoy the art.history aspect of it and so I guess the.reason why I became or I'm trying to.become a social-media influencer just as.I feel like nowadays our age group is.just so you know prominent on social.media and I like the idea of sharing.those pictures and photography and stuff.like that that's always been something.I'm really passionate about and growing.up so yeah I don't really have you know.enough on my page but I definitely have.been wanting to do you know Instagram.and be an influencer for quite a while.so it's actually really exciting to like.start something meal yeah so I guess we.would like to describe you're kind of.like a as a mini influencer right now.yeah cause you have the goals as to like.where you want to be um but you're just.aspiring to get to that place right yeah.I'd say a lot of influencers and.nowadays have you know hundreds of.thousands of followers and you know.compare I'm very I would emphasize the.word mini because I have mean 1,500.followers so nothing compared to other.people right but like still a good.platform to like get your message out.there you have an unlike your social.community and then you can bridge from.there right yeah of course I started.doing Instagram but I tried to like.branch out from there.but I've always yeah I've always been a.creative person I I mean I'm I'm.volunteering at the ROM right now so.that I got is like towards my field and.something I've always been interested in.what are you doing there so I working.like that it's called the discovery.gallery so it's basically like the you.work with like the little kids oh yeah.it's I love you know kids and especially.these I just I love museums that's.particularly the reason why I want to.start working there it is again.something I'm interested in but like I'm.working with kids is not.I aspire the dual path yeah not the.direct path but it gives me a chance to.branch out to people that I've never.would have you know spoken to before and.people again in like my same field so.yeah so like we're all pretty much like.in the creative aspect oh yeah I had two.perspective eating after each other's.ideas yeah it's also like a good place.to network just being in like an.environment that facilitates like the.creative like mind and 100% yeah you.know volunteered at the wrong just helps.me you know helps me and you don't want.more people exactly yeah Network thing's.for sure so right now you're doing.Instagram um so like what are you trying.to focus your page on specifically like.I know you're like a blogger but um oh.like what areas so I mean I'm kind of.just seeing what people like most I kind.of just do fashion travel lifestyle food.clothes everything really so I.particularly like food because I am I'm.a big foodie um yeah so I have this.Instagram I mean it's what I'm working.on as well but it's called live a little.the yeah it's called live a little so I.just post like different restaurants I'm.going to and you know different food.stuff about that food so it's like on my.actual account I post like a lot of.travel and lifestyle stuff and yeah and.just having that opportunity to post.that I mean it depends on like who.actually is interested in it so those.those people like those followers I.would you know like lean more towards.their opinion.so just terms of like opportunity.recognition so how do you go from like.an entrepreneurship mindset and like how.does your thought process flow is it.more of like a causation so causation.it's just like you have a clear goal you.have market knowledge already and then.you're just trying to like achieve those.objections or do you think it's more.effectuation which is like trial and.error and then space off of like your.network and your knowledge of it and.then like any current resources and like.you have like is it more of like a trial.and error basis or is it yeah I wouldn't.say it was about the first one I forgot.the term.but I would say it's more a child and.Eric it's really seeing what my.followers want and I think it was back.to a situation effectuation yeah so it's.really just seeing what my followers.want what the general community wants.okay so I know you said your answer was.effectuation so basically like you're.just driven based off of like your prior.knowledge and like what you already have.access and resources to or like passion.towards but I there are a few principles.I know we went over them before so it.was affordable lost the lemonade burden.hand yeah the plane pilot and then.patchwork quilt now that like I've.talked to you a little bit about like.what what each of those entrepreneurship.effectuation like methods are mm-hmm.do you think that like you've gravitate.towards anyone you're working or like.your mindset is like based off of any of.them are you talking about the patchwork.quilt as being something you know.creating something new with you know.whatever you're surrounded with and I.already have like parts like existing.like knowledge and like resources like.yeah I understand and I say just living.in the city again you know I have access.access to a lot of these things in.Toronto these different neighborhoods.and these different you know cultures.and I guess a different perspectives.different ways of you know different.fashion stuff like that and so different.markets to tap into them a hundred.percent are they right outside your door.and there's I find not only just being.able to you know take take pictures of.you know fashion food and stuff like.that I'm I want to just tap into those.different niche markets and really do.something that I'm passionate about with.the you know resources that I have.available to me when you're starting a.new creative project like how would you.describe your opportunity recognition.path like would you think it's like.internally simulated so like it's based.off of like you always like want to.start a project and then you go after.like a Nisha opportunity or is it like.externally like you already see an.opportunity and like that's when you.start to do it.or is it like something kinda hard it I.had in the back your mind I definitely.say it's more I think it was an intern.internally stimulated project I mean I.started posting pictures of food.it really live a little was the.Instagram page I started with and I.enjoyed that and I kind of just made.that up because I wanted to and Gangu.I'm actually that driver of opportunity.right I wanted to post and I don't.really look for an opportunity it kind.of just well like you we're also kind of.like I remember in high school you were.kind of already doing a lot of those.things too like yeah going up I like.going to a lot of different restaurants.like I know your family's like really.big on like crying my places yeah like.just experiencing downtown Toronto so.like it was something you're out of.doing so you kind of like bridged off of.that yeah I don't think I really looked.for an opportunity I kind of just saw it.naturally it just I want to do and I I.chose to without really kind of like any.external I was like just like taking.something or basically already doing and.then like Jeff I don't wait to like gain.followers off that and I can monetize.yeah yeah and it's not even that I want.you know money from that it's just like.again like volunteering at the ROM it's.something I volunteer I'm not looking.for you know that money for it but again.it's branching out having those.opportunities again with Instagram I.kind of just chose to you know start my.food blog as something I was really.passionate about not really for money.but just for something I was really.passionate about right exactly.today's really internally stimulated for.sure and then okay so in terms of like.business models I know like both of us.know we're both Millennials there is a.lot of competition in our age group of.looking to become influencers especially.on Instagram going back to just like.what do you think makes you so different.from these people I guess what makes me.different I find a lot of instagramers.have you know a specific you know niche.market if there's awards right so a lot.of bloggers I followed they're just.fashion or there you know solely to talk.and so I find them I'm not as specific I.kind of do whatever I like and I am.passionate about which is not again.you know something unfamiliar including.like social media industry but been.different around to like people have.different interests like I'm not purely.like a fashion person even not myself.like yes I'll follow fashion person but.I'm also gonna want to follow a food.person.want to fold it so I guess like you're.trying to kind of do all of that aren't.you yeah in a way that you know still I.enjoy and still genuine towards me I.don't say really specific but yeah just.because of so much competition I kind of.do everything.tap they've all but these are kids.exactly right I try to make it one how.would you designate your competition.like do you think it's like direct.competition or do you think like you're.offering a different value than some of.these people like yes I know it's all.Instagram based and everyone can like.anyone can put up a page anyone can like.I don't start anyone can be an.influencer anyone can have like yeah and.I can't of whatever they want but like.how do you think that you offer a.different value to your customers like.how do you make yourself different to.your competition.I guess there's more just going back to.again the genuine aspect of you know.doing what I love and a lot of people on.Instagram just kind of do it again for.the money and nothing that's a bad thing.but that's what they're motivated.towards I am motivated towards just.doing something I'm passionate about.you're also like you're offering that.like different value of like so it's.like genuine at the end like you are.staying true to like what you love like.you yeah all these different markets.you're not gonna not gonna subject.yourself to one like specific thing like.you're gonna continue to do like.whatever you like yeah and then if they.want to follow you along more than like.a journey basis right rather than just.like this is what I do fashion every day.all day which I find a lot of people do.nowadays is solely fashion solely food.and I got to follow all these different.accounts where I find if I just post out.of all of them like you know food all of.these different markets I'm like.differentiating you from yeah yeah that.works and who does as I'd like to be.yeah of course.do you have any like ending words or.advice or like drivers that you would.like leave off for like people aspiring.to like go into your position um well.again just being a mini influencer not.having branched out and reached that.many people.I would say just starting off I wasn't.as confident as I am now and I'm still.obviously learning and growing but you.know some advice would be just to talk.to people and sound so cliche but really.put yourself out there and get to know.people and nowadays everyone stuck to.their phones if you actually you know.look up and see ya different you know.like people that around me like people.that you can like Thomas you walk to and.market with and network with a frame.yeah so so just putting yourself out.there branching out kind of getting out.of your comfort zone for sure like we're.Millennials were so so attached to our.phones we think like being on our phones.and like going through I know like you.are like your basis is social media but.like we think that like we can get.everything done with our technology like.I think we've had forgotten that face to.face that like really needs a message in.order to yeah like yeah for sure and I.got more of those networks right those.networks are the most important kind of.I mean you could obviously start off.with no networking and then from.Instagram make your you know.relationships there but I think it's a.lot more you know genuine intimate like.when you're actually talking upper 70.yeah I think those relationships yeah.sure.so yeah I'd just say getting yourself.out there Brandon oh yeah getting off.your phone even though you're trying to.like start a business from your phone.yeah we really do genuine networks and.yeah.just being confident right confidence.for sure even if you know you lack it a.little bit it's important to at least.try to put yourself out there yeah okay.well thank you so much for coming and.talking to me today is really nice.[Applause].so that's it for my podcast today thank.you everybody for listening we'll talk.to you guys next week.[Music].

What tax form do I have to fill out for the money I made on Quora?

Quora should issue you a form 1099. You would add that to any other income to the 1040EZ, or whichever tax form you otherwise use. Online programs will simply ask you in plain English (or whichever language it supports) to “tell us about any non-taxed income you have received”.

Do military members have to pay any fee for leave or fiancee forms?

First off there are no fees for leaves or requests for leave in any branch of the United States military. Second there is no such thing as a fiancée form in the U.S. military. There is however a form for applying for a fiancée visa (K-1 Visa)that is available from the Immigration and Customs Service (Fiancé(e) Visas ) which would be processed by the U.S. State Department at a U.S. Consulate or Embassy overseas. However these fiancée visas are for foreigners wishing to enter the United States for the purpose of marriage and are valid for 90 days. They have nothing to do with the military and are Continue Reading

How can I fill out Google's intern host matching form to optimize my chances of receiving a match?

I was selected for a summer internship 2016. I tried to be very open while filling the preference form: I choose many products as my favorite products and I said I'm open about the team I want to join. I even was very open in the location and start date to get host matching interviews (I negotiated the start date in the interview until both me and my host were happy.) You could ask your recruiter to review your form (there are very cool and could help you a lot since they have a bigger experience). Do a search on the potential team. Before the interviews, try to find smart question that you are Continue Reading

What is your craziest US immigration experience?

I've told this story before on Quora, but this always makes me laugh. First, you need to know that while I was born in the USA, I renounced my American citizenship about 25 years ago. So, about 15 years ago (in the days of paper tickets) I was heading home to Toronto from our office in Shannon, Ireland. But a last-minute meeting in New York had popped up, so I was going to fly to New York first, then meet my colleague who would give me my New York-Toronto ticket. I flew into the USA 20 or 30 times a year in those days. Anyhow, I got to the customs counter and the guy was not at all happy. He gril Continue Reading

Do I need to file a NJ extension?

California tax extensions require no form to be filed to apply for a state tax extension. The State of California will grant you an automatic state tax return extension as long as you pay any tax balance you owe by the original deadline (April 15). Therefore, if you owe zero California income tax or you’re due a state tax refund, there's nothing to do anything to receive a California extension. Use California Form FTB 3519 (Payment for Automatic Extension for Individuals) to submit your extension payment by check. If you are unsure whether you have a tax balance, use the worksheet on Form FTB 3519.

How do I file for an extension on my taxes?
