hello everyone welcome to my channel.today i'm gonna talk about getting.divorce in the united states when i.first came to this country I was still.married to my expose however the.marriage no longer existed because we.were separated already one day a.co-worker of mine told me that she just.got divorced I asked her how did you do.that she said she went online fill out.the forms by herself.so I said oh I want to do that also so.to the computer I went now I look at.those forms and those forms are called.vom Arielle dom Rallo.so the first form that I filled out was.called domme Braille 20 these forms was.asking all about personal information my.personal information and my expose.personal information so I filled out.everything now don't you worry because.there is an instruction line after line.after line on how to answer those forms.so that's pretty cool because you are.instructed you are guided and what to do.and how to answer it so after I filled.out all those forms the da Merle 24 I.personally went to the court of course.because I have to file it so I went to.the circuit court at that time I was.living in Baltimore City so I went to.the circuit court of Baltimore City so I.went there and the clerk took it and I.have to file of course the filing fee a.filing fee was $135 so I was given a.receipt like an acknowledgement.it was filed and happy be the fees and a.case number who was also attached for.those documents so I went home and after.a few weeks I received on the mail all.those files all those documents that I.have filled out and there was a specific.instruction there which says that these.documents needs to be sent to my ex.spouse so that my ex Pau's will also put.his signature there so I was kind of.like well where is he where is he now.because it's a long time how many years.we've been separated so I don't know.where is he so I took the chance of.sending those documents to his parents.address in the Philippines but of course.his name is the name that I wrote there.that the address was his parents address.in the Philippines so I put all of the.documents in an envelope and I went to.FedEx and have it shipped via FedEx so I.waited and I waited and I waited after.two months.it came back whoa it came back I opened.the package and he signed it isn't that.amazing so I wanted a divorce.maybe he also wanted a divorce so I will.check I inspected all documents and.clearly he signed all of it.he followed every instructions that was.given on each page so I took it back to.the circuit court so I went there and.then took it back there to the chloric.so the court again receive it and that I.was told that you have to wait for a.meal so I waited again and.waited and then I received a letter in.the mail which says that we receive your.documents and then we'll receive the.service and then I just have to wait for.my hearing on a specific date so the.more I get excited because it's working.so I'm now in the process so I waited.again and then by November because I.filed it I started filing it August so.by November I get a letter from the mail.which says that my court hearing will be.on the 28th of December so I was really.so excited but it stated also in the.letter that I need to bring along a.witness who knows me who knows my ex.spouse who knows about the marriage so.that that witness can also stand for me.in the court and then yeah you know all.these things or maybe you don't know who.a witness is the one who will say also.something about the marriage and what.happened so we went there on December.28th now when we were there we were.assigned to a circuit court judge like.they call it this is the south of the.court so there were lots of people there.so I was waiting for my case to hurried.but before mine I think there was like.three or four cases also being heard so.it's it's kind it's quite an experience.when you hear all these hearings all.these divorce proceedings of other.people and it was my first time to hear.all of those things so I we waited.patiently me and my friend we waited.patiently until my case was cold yeah I.was called to the stand my witness was.called to the stand.it was my witness first was first called.that.after her it was my turn so I was being.sworn in by the judge and then the judge.asked me I remember this this is pretty.cool.the judge said do you really want to do.this.I said yes your honor if your spouse or.your husband will win the lottery.tomorrow you won't get to share and I.can hear the roar of laughter at the.back like they were just all laughing.with what the judge had said so I look.straight to the judge and I said no no.your honor I won't be those funny I want.the divorce so the judge said so be it.then she told me that you are not to do.anything until you receive the court.decision in the mail do not do anything.until you receive the court decision in.the mail so I waited from the somber.28th one month after there was the mail.I was granted my absolute divorce on.January 26.so I look at all those papers and it.says there that I have a copy of the of.the decision and they also the court.also sent a copy of the decision to my.ex spouse to the Philippines so there.you go folks there you go I got my.divorce I did it myself I did not hire a.lawyer and I paid $135 to get an.absolute divorce for my marriage.what was the fine line this is the.timeline.I started August I got the decision.finality of the decision January so.August September October November.in January it was like five six months.five months the way to be exact five.months.$135 for the filing fees of course I.have to pay the FedEx for the service.they call it service when the documents.go to your ex-spouse they call it.service like you have to serve the.papers to him so I I think I paid FedEx.at the time another fifty bucks.so one hundred thirty five and fifty.bucks $185 for a divorce.in the United States but here is the.thing about my case it went quick and it.was straight shot it's because number.one we don't have children so there is.no fight for custody of the children no.children.we don't have properties no conjugal.properties so that's another thing that.makes it simple number three I did not.ask for alimony I did not ask for any.financial benefits from my ex spouse.nothing about money I did not ask for.that so that's another thing that really.makes it makes it really quick so there.you go folks there you go no children.and her children no conjugal properties.I did not ask for financial or monetary.gains from my ex-husband so it really.makes my case really quick I'm a lawyer.I'm just trying to tell you what.happened and what is the experience that.I went through to get an absolute.divorce for my merits so there you go I.have closure now in that marriage here.in the United States 185 dollars all the.fees all the money that he'll spend and.I did did it myself.go online follow the instructions so if.you like this video because it gives you.information please click the subscribe.so that you will be notified in my next.video I'm gonna tell you about my.annulment in the Philippines because.this is just the divorce here in America.divorce is not accepted in the.Philippines so when I go home to the.Philippines I am still married to my.expose so I need to get an annulment.there so stay tuned folks but click on.the subscribe so that you will know.about how I go through my annulment.process in the Philippines alright bye.

Do military members have to pay any fee for leave or fiancee forms?

First off there are no fees for leaves or requests for leave in any branch of the United States military. Second there is no such thing as a fiancée form in the U.S. military. There is however a form for applying for a fiancée visa (K-1 Visa)that is available from the Immigration and Customs Service (Fiancé(e) Visas ) which would be processed by the U.S. State Department at a U.S. Consulate or Embassy overseas. However these fiancée visas are for foreigners wishing to enter the United States for the purpose of marriage and are valid for 90 days. They have nothing to do with the military and are Continue Reading

What can I do when a divorced parent refuses to fill out a college financial aid form?

Anything that does not involve going to university and paying for it with loans/grants. Join the service. Get a full time job and take a class at a time and pay with cash. Find an employer that will pay for your schooling. Get married so you can be considered an independent student 9but not from your husband). Jus t get a job. By the time the government lets you file as an independent student(age 24) you may have found an even better pattern that doesn’t involve college at all.

Why don't schools teach children about taxes and bills and things that they will definitely need to know as adults to get by in life?

You Don't Get The Premium Channels Because they are not the children of the School nor of the State, they are citizens. While it is necessary, it is not done because YOUR family should do this for you, should be making an effort to understand how. The assumption that school is to teach a person about the immensity of life is ridiculous and one of the ways that society leans on school (government) rather than self-empowerment. You get what you pay for. If school is a free public service than you can’t have the premium channels. Now that omission might screw up the usage of those skills but schoo Continue Reading

What happens to all of the paper forms you fill out for immigration and customs?

Years ago I worked at document management company. There is cool software that can automate aspects of hand-written forms. We had an airport as a customer - they scanned plenty and (as I said before) this was several years ago... On your airport customs forms, the "boxes" that you 'need' to write on - are basically invisible to the scanner - but are used because then us humans will tend to write neater and clearer which make sit easier to recognize with a computer. Any characters with less than X% accuracy based on a recognition engine are flagged and shown as an image zoomed into the particular character so a human operator can then say "that is an "A". This way, you can rapidly go through most forms and output it to say - an SQL database, complete with link to original image of the form you filled in. If you see "black boxes" at three corners of the document - it is likely set up for scanning (they help to identify and orient the page digitally). If there is a unique barcode on the document somewhere I would theorize there is an even higher likelihood of it being scanned - the document is of enough value to be printed individually which costs more, which means it is likely going to be used on the capture side. (I've noticed in the past in Bahamas and some other Caribbean islands they use these sorts of capture mechanisms, but they have far fewer people entering than the US does everyday) The real answer is: it depends. Depending on each country and its policies and procedures. Generally I would be surprised if they scanned and held onto the paper. In the US, they proably file those for a set period of time then destroy them, perhaps mining them for some data about travellers. In the end, I suspect the "paper-to-data capture" likelihood of customs forms ranges somewhere on a spectrum like this: Third world Customs Guy has paper to show he did his job, paper gets thrown out at end of shift. ------> We keep all the papers! everything is scanned as you pass by customs and unique barcodes identify which flight/gate/area the form was handed out at, so we co-ordinate with cameras in the airport and have captured your image. We also know exactly how much vodka you brought into the country. :)

How do you fill out tax forms?

Depending on what information you have, you can do it your self, not recommended, hire a professional in desending qualifications: CPA, Enrolled Agent, Kitchen table preparer, or anyone who says he’s a tax preparer.

Do you identify as single or divorced when filling out forms and applications and why?

I identify as a single person. I don't have children. I always check that box and so far it's not an issue. However, my insurance company lists me as divorced since I was once on my husband's policy. This irritates me to no end. I also changed my name back to my maiden name when we divorced.

Can I file for divorce from another country?

I would highly recommend for you to not marry someone for the sake of getting them a green card. Not only is it immigration fraud, but chances are really high that you will get caught. She will get deported with a lifetime ban on entering the United States, and you will be receiving a felony conviction and possible prison time. If you divorce, she will not be able to get her green card and you will be summoned to a fraud interview and will be scrutinized even further. Stay away from this! No matter how tempting or rewarding as it may seem. You will be caught!
