How Do You Get Application For Utility Foreman License Form and Sign It from Computer?

hello and welcome to our webinar on geo.enabled I am for utilities I'd like to.introduce our presenters for today's.webinar our first presenter is going to.be Mike Underwood Mike Underwood is the.services team leader for s ap spatial.solutions in regulated industries within.the u.s. within this group the s ap.formed a strategic alliance in 2016 with.Vesta partners and Krita j'en with the.common goal of coupling SATs spatial.technologies and enterprise with Vestas.deep EAM and courage and steep.geospatial enterprise to address the.u.s. utilities in public sector market.segments our second presenter will be.martin stanczyk martin is the president.divest in north america and in his role.and in the partnership with sa p he has.furthered the topic of geospatial.enablement of SA P within the past six.years our third presenter is going to be.Jamie Crawford jamie is Critias and vice.president of geospatial systems.integration and responsible for North.America operation she has 20 years of.GIS experience with the primary focus on.integrating geospatial technology within.enterprise business systems welcome our.special guest.Tommy Akers from Omaha metropolitan.utilities district will be introduced.later in the program step us through a.demonstration of the geographical.enablement framework for enterprise.asset management and then we'll wrap up.today with with an interview session.Jamie Crawford will be conducting with.Tommy Akers our client from from Omaha.metropolitan utilities district so.that's our agenda challenges the.challenge is that the solution is.designed to address I'm guessing that.most of the folks on the call of.familiar with these issues the the.fundamental the fundamental challenge is.a lot of customer.most of our customers if not all of our.customers that are managing assets are.trying to do so across two separate IT.stacks or two separate systems the s AP.business suite and a GIS system and so.having two separate sets of data two.separate applications to separate.analytics tax is is suboptimal in a.number of ways and creates a number of.issues and challenges that are pretty.consistent across power utilities water.utilities and government agencies as.well folks that are trying to manage.assets infrastructure and maintain those.those assets in that infrastructure.across a lifecycle from from planning.acquisition and throughout the.maintenance history of the particular.asset and so the solution that s AP has.brought into the market as of mid 2016.solves this problem in a very elegant.and straightforward manner idea enabling.the SAT asset data with location and.geometric attributes from your GIS.system which we do during configuration.setup and throughout the implementation.effort that can be performed by s AP and.our partners footage in Augusta.the result is a rich geo naval data set.inside the s AP environment residing on.the Hana data server the real-time on a.data server and then those obstacles.those sa PG enables s ap data objects.can then be served out through map user.interfaces that are also part of the.solution that are available for desktop.users through planners and managers in.the back office for mobile workers in.the field as well making everyone's jobs.easier and and.and creating just up a much more rapid.business process in time to incite for.everybody associated with the lifecycle.of managing your asset and.infrastructures and as you can see on.this slide the capability is available.for both the desktop and and for mobile.use a quick overview of the solution.sort of a high-level architectural.diagram you'll notice in the blue it.spells out the SAT Business Suite SAT.suite for Hana the solution is available.for either the business sweet and sweet.for Hana you can see that Hana is in.fact the native data server for the.solution you can see the integration.through to your GIS platform and a key.key point to stress is this is about gon.abling SAT without disturbing your GIS.environment and and and further allowing.for the synchronization of those data.between those two systems to occur the.solutions comprised of two basic product.components from s AP in the light blue.box you'll notice as f AP geographical.enablement Frank geographical enabled.enablement framework or GE F for short.that is product number one the framework.the framework is what facilitates the.integration and allows for the.synchronization of the data between the.two data the two the two environments.the s AP environment and the GIS.environment so as transactions occur and.the database is updated you will.determine on a refresh plan basis either.nightly weekly whatever makes sense for.your business the data to be updated and.as its updated its updated in both.systems so your GIS users are.benefitting by seeing updated current.and synchronized transaction.data up-to-the-minute up to the up to.the update data if you will your FTP.users now have one interface one map.based user interface to perform their.work through and then that map based.user interface they can do the entire.life cycle if you will inspect notify.plan work orders issue work orders.settle work orders fall through the map.user interface both on the desktop and.out in the field and a key point is both.the field users and the back-office.users are are working off the same.integrated you enabled data set resident.on the Hana server a significant benefit.that may not be immediately apparent.from this solution approach is the.elimination of data silos the solution.as we just described it allows your.mobile your mobile users your analysts.and your gif team as well as your s AP.back office to operate up the same set.of integrated geo enabled real time data.so with that I'd like to turn it over to.my esteemed colleague Martin tenzig who.will step us through a EAM demo Gon.abled Martin thanks Mike yeah what you.can see here on the screen is the.starting page for the the new SAPT re.launch pad that has the jus enablement.framework on configured the June Evelyn.framework is a standard product from sa.P to allow you an element of all objects.in sa P so it's not just for specific.maintenance objects but it can enable.any kind of objects in ASAP starting at.assets and that's what we will talk.about today - real estate objects - even.financial transactions if you would want.to do that.there's currently a plant maintenance.enablement pack whose functionality I.will show today that enables EEM.specific objects such as function.locations equipments notifications and.work orders on the geo navel and.framework works on the Fiore paradigm so.it can be used in the back office as.well as on tablets in the field so all.the functionality that you see here is.web enabled and what you see here is.that I'm using a standard web browser.and not the standard taught.quote-unquote old SAPT to to enter the.functionality so let's open up the dual.enablement Explorer on what we have is.the do it.geo explorer has a number of components.that I want to point out in the middle.of the screen is is essentially the map.in this case we have the map of North.America but you know it's a pluggable.around the globe so you can use on a.global map with specific details as a.centerpiece of that functionality on the.left hand side we have the maps and.layers region that allows me to to.switch out base maps reference layers.and business layers and I will explain.those in more detail a little bit later.on on the right side of the screen you.can turn on and off a legend.that legend will be become populated as.soon as I turn on additional layers.which we will find as well and on the.top right here we have a search.functionality that allows us to to.search through the various business.layers or Business Objects that I have.configured in the system in my case it's.gas distribution valves electric.distribution circuits gas distribution.means and it also allows me to to do a.classic address lookup so this location.functionality down here which we'll use.later in the demonstration allows me to.enter an arbitrary address which is then.resolved to a geospatial location there.the application will automatically zoom.in to that so let's start out with my.base Maps as we see here on the left.hand side base maps are essentially the.background of your map functionality.think of them like near the background.picture now what we have here is we have.configured three publicly available base.maps they're all from the vendor called.ESRI on the first base map that I have.available here is is my satellite.picture sometimes satellite pictures can.be really helpful to identify you know a.tree growth open spaces location of.buildings etc etc the second one we have.is in is an online street based map so.that shows more the the streets on the.map and focusing essentially on the.transportation factors and then where.the third one is a topographic map that.we can use done so again it doesn't.really matter what basement you have in.the in the background you can just.configure one or multiple but sometimes.you know especially the the satellite.picture in the background what the.capability to switching to the satellite.picture in the background can be very.helpful especially for technicians in.the field that's what we've found.let's talk reference layers um we switch.over to to the reference layers here is.um reference layers are are data sets.that can come from an from an external.system or even from an external vendor.in the cloud what can be exposed by your.internal GS group and can be made.available in within us AP environment.what I've done here is I've added some.publicly available on layers that you.know we can enable so in my.environmental site what I can do is I.can turn on the weather that is.currently residing over over North.America and what will happen is it will.show you know weather patterns like the.current the current radar images of you.know where we have rain falling over.North America I can also turn on watches.and warnings on the right side here you.see that the legend is automatically.populated and added to it and what you.will see is that the watches and.warnings are now showing up all over.North America so um this is publicly.available data.how is that relevant to what you're.doing in the utility space pretty simple.if I use this information so the.external information that I'm getting.from publicly available sources about.the weather were about weather warnings.and watches and I overlay that and I.compare that with my locations of my.work orders that I have in my ASAP.system at that point in time I can I can.have pre-emptive warnings on to my crews.to say hey be aware there's a.thunderstorm warning for the location.that you have a work order ad this.afternoon so be careful or let's.schedule or let's shift the schedule.this type of functionality we could not.do before on we can now do with the Geo.in a Berlin framework in play let's go.to another example of the reference.layer let's use us demographical.information so if we are having our.projects especially construction.projects that we're planning we might.want to take the population projection.grow as a factor into consideration when.prioritizing my project so what I can do.is I can overlay the the population.projection over the United States and.then utilize them to see where I should.prioritize my project and where I might.not want to invest money and right now.so those are two examples that I just.wanted to show you for reference layers.another reference layer concept that we.have seen from from a lot of utilities.is that you might already have a.reference layer in your GIS system that.shows on areas where you have heightened.security requirements where you need to.you need to travel to with two people.what they are dogs in the neighborhood.that you need to take care of so those.kinds of reference layers.well those kinds of informations might.be available already on reference layers.in your GIS system within your company.that you want to overlay onto under this.background map let's go into business.layers before I go into business layers.let's zoom into an area that I have.built out with my SAT data I've picked.I picked the neighborhood in Seattle.which is sort of in the Beacon Hill area.of Seattle what I'm doing is I'm.specifying an address here also to show.you that functionality so based on my.address entry it found the appropriate.address and as soon as I click on that.it will zoom into that neighborhood and.show me the topographical map here in.that in that neighborhood so as soon as.I turn on the business layers now and in.my case what I will do is I will turn on.on gas assets and electric assets um you.can either select them all I'm just like.what I'm doing here or I can I can.selectively turn them on in my case here.let's just turn on the circuit but not.the services for electric so now I have.turned on the gas mains that we see here.gas services shown by the red dotted.line on gas distribution valves so all.my gas has a dye in red and what I can.do is I can click on those individual.assets and get more detailed information.about you know the information in SA P.so this is not any longer just a GIS.asset or just an asset that lives in SA.P this is essentially now combine.information from GIS and si P what I can.see here and visualized here so we have.the user status but I can click on it.without having to know the specific ID.or the specific location I can just use.the map I the map information to to.navigate to it so what I can also do is.rather than turning them on and off I.can have a context-sensitive.functionality to it let me click on on.this mania this distribution main the.three buttons indicate the action.functionality when I click on it I will.see the configured actions in our system.the display detail create notification.and show notifications box once I click.on display details the standard function.location screen comes up.this screen here is a standard SI p.screen that shows me the function.location details just like you are used.to from your function location screen.now when I switch back to the map and do.the action one more time I can also.create a notification for this.particular object now what I've seen.here is a standard notification entry.screen um and I can enter the.notification description text here I.have my reference locate a function.location that came automatically over on.so we're seeing standard SP.functionality integrated with the map.now the main benefit here is that you do.not have to know the specific function.location so the the 40 character ID of.that particular function location all.I've done is I've selected my offset on.the map and allowed you to allow you to.interact with that particular asset.directly from the map talk about.symbology as you see here is we have gas.assets shown in red gas valves and.meters shown as circles.so this lines shown as as red walk you.know when I went to school up here Green.Green electric services all that is.configurable you can define the service.be the symbology that that you want to.have and the last thing and I started.out with that June m1 framework is.highly extensible so you can not only.utilize this functionality that comes.pretty much out of the box that can be.configured but you can on configure.other objects as well so what our team.here is working on is specifically in.the near term is the extensions for.linear asset management that will allow.me to specify a start point and end.point of the work or a location.long Alinea asset as well as real-estate.functionality to manage specifically.ESA's and other things on the real.estate side so those are the extensions.that you know we're already working on.and that will become come forward soon.with that let me hand it back to Mike.how gef is a dramatic step forward step.change and creating an environment for.your users but at the desktop and in the.field significant step forward and ease.of use driving business process.efficiencies streamlined workflow.execution eliminating the need to swivel.around in their chair and and and try.and reconcile information between two.disparate and unsynchronized data.environments so we're quite excited.about the capability in terms of.outcomes and business impact we've been.gathering data through customer.experiences through si P's value.engineering professional services team.but I want to share some of the findings.with you today some impacts that we've.seen through deployment of g unable da m.along with mobile the mobile components.so these data are representative of that.complete solution and i'm just like to.draw everybody's attention to couple.numbers on this slide if you just focus.on work order efficiencies um if if this.system and this system absolutely should.allow for a significant improvement in.those efficiencies and you just take a.number a reasonably conservative number.say 10 to 20% efficiencies you're.probably going to see savings on an.annualized basis in this range we just.sort of took a cross-section if you will.our typical customer what they spend on.work order management through the.through the SI p in GIS environment and.we think these savings are.representative on an annualized basis.three to four million dollars number of.course every every account every utility.every agency is going to bury but we.think this is a reasonably conservative.and representative number and that's.just one dimension of savings and you.know without absolutely committing to it.I can tell you that the costs associated.with the solution could probably be.covered in large part by that that one.variant improvement alone and so strong.ROI over a multi-year time frame is what.our customers are seeing as well.so STP and our team is ready to engage.with you as Martin said we'd love to as.a next step make arrangements to come.on-site follow-up phone calls whatever.is most efficient to open up.conversation with you to start exploring.how how we can help you deploy this.solution set in your environment and.with that I'm going to turn it over to.my other esteemed colleague James Chaney.Crawford and our special guest today mr..Tommy Akers great thank you thank you.very much Mike I'm assuming Tommy is.unmuted and can can talk so Tommy if you.can maybe start off by giving everybody.just a little short introduction of.Omaha muv and as well as yourself and.then we can go into some of the.questions that we can start start a.dialogue and hopefully share some of.your experiences with the rest of the.people on the phone sure absolutely.thanks for having me was that pretty.good experience with g.od so far so yeah.I'm happy to be able to share a story so.mech Public Utilities district we.provide gas and water for the Omaha.metro area the total number of customers.vary depending on which utility for gas.we're about two hundred twenty-three.thousand and on the water side just over.two hundred seven thousand our SI p.platforms at m e DS that has gone.through a lot of growth since about 2007.we started with the fico module and in.2009 there's HCM.2013 with CRM and 2014 was.SuccessFactors and we started some what.was generalized as a mobility project.the biggest step board with that.happened last year.once we transitioned all of our service.orders being deployed and managed to.work manager on the iPad and with my.role with that I'm an analyst under the.enterprise as a management team my.background though is from a drafting /.engineering side so I came at this from.a mapping jazz perspective we as Ria's.our GIS provider here and so it led.right into and was a huge benefit for.for us to already have that experience.in house when we started the julia.project great thanks Tommy I think it's.pretty exciting for me coming from a.jazz background that a jazz person was.heavily engaged and you got to work.closely and collaborate with the SAT.side of the the organization so you know.maybe we'll just roll into a few of our.questions I guess when you guys started.up the project to do do enablement what.were some of the major business and.operational challenges that led you down.the path to to do the integration I mean.as you and I have had conversations.before a lot of organizations don't.integrate the two systems so what kind.of made you guys decide that that was.the way that you wanted to go well like.my planet on its first slide is the two.stacks being billed separately we can.lead to problems particularly mismatched.records we the mapping site has one set.of equivalent records and whatever your.maintenance system or equipment log.system is as a whole different set of.equipment records and so we we recognize.that problem from systems before as Dre.and sa P what really started driving the.trying to match every in GIS I'm sorry.yesterday NSA P was our previous record.system was just an Oracle database and.we were eliminating and phasing out.rolling those equipment records NS AP.and to really manage all the work.it's four quarters from there so we we.had taken steps before that project.happened on the GIS I to really trying.to match up the records anyway to kind.of get a head start on s AP and GIS.integration at some point how he.stumbled into more or less compliance a.goe is that it became a product that was.catching ground and and it's becoming.popular so I come back to the question.though if what over the big girls were.trying to get by was number one was the.synchronization of records.honestly that mu D has been had a lot of.mismatched records and we've narrowed it.down quite a bit especially on our gas.valve records the other portion that.Michael alluded to is having the ability.to manage your work orders from a.mapping perspective historically we had.an extra field on that database that.they called their sort field and looped.those by what we called foreman pages.and that's how they lumped their orders.together by whatever reporting mechanism.they chose it worked but it was.inefficient some some person on the Main.Street may choose that it goes on this.page as opposed to this page and then.that valve gets overlooked for a year.maybe an extra two years so having.having little orders show up on a map.was one of the requirements we wanted we.knew that that would provide some.efficiencies for the managers doing.their maintenance plans and the other.part kind of outside of Plant.Maintenance is we also again you enabled.some is you objects and they kind of had.the same situation where they would go.and create an is you object look on a.giant paper map and determine what sets.of polygons whether it was City Limits.or a sewer rate jurisdiction something.to that effect and they could there was.a lot of potential for error there.so we enriched that creation process for.the I asked you people and made the.billing process a lot more accurate.doing that so before you before you.solve the problem about kind of data.synchronization still only have to.update the data one three.entering in data manually from into both.distance yeah what we tried to narrow.down was on the GIS I'd put in minimal.data particularly what turns out to be.an equipment number so that we know we.could go and match something up on the.SA P side at some point in time whatever.that integration mechanism ended up.being as it turned out an end up being.what June ableman the same framework so.other than that that main piece of.information the equipment number we.really had to minimize it the data entry.on the GS side so we could minimize the.double data entry but it did happen.hey so we just era Vesta mitigated at.that point with goe obviously we can.eliminate eliminate it completely and.just recognize and establish if there.are certain fields that are going to.sync between both systems so so when you.guys were deciding on what the solution.was going to look like who was kind of.involved in that decision and what were.some of the kind of major you know.arguments or decision points on you know.going with a do enablement or nor not I.think you guys are a little bit on the.light besides of your smaller.organization so there wasn't as much but.I'm sure there was still some different.opinions going on internally sure sure.so you have like said being on the.smaller side were pretty fortunate that.a lot of ideas can just sprout up from.anywhere in this particular situation I.just happen to be at a conference as you.see on five six years ago at this point.and they were Stephen all Brett was.doing a demo on real estate portion at.that time and they had mentioned that.they were looking to do plant.maintenance stuff and it was just kind.of going to grow from there so I brought.that info back to my bosses and passed.it on and we just kind of kept an eye on.it on the side and work towards making.sure our existing systems would be set.up for that when the time came when it.when it came for arguments against there.there weren't too many honestly it.seemed like a completely win-win.situation.is the integration part was all going to.be managed within our sapa environment.anyway we are he had all these robotics.needed the distribution managers got.what they wanted even if maybe it wasn't.the holistically ESRI based GIS map to.manage their work orders they got a map.to manage the work orders which was what.they wanted so it it ended up not adding.too many arguments against to be honest.did you guys consider any kind of I mean.you mentioned like just you know some.ESRI based solutions versus you know.putting maps into s ap or since you're.already going data integration passes.that not come up because there's always.in it are kind of just standing up more.putting more functionality into your GIS.right yeah we it didn't come up very.much I mean I looked at it together.explore all the options available to us.but in the end it really everybody knew.it had to end up where it did because we.didn't want to have certain departments.having that orders managed outside of SA.P when almost all of the other.departments are going to have their.orders managed NS ap if and if not at.that current time it was going to be.happening at some point in time in the.future so trying to keep everything.within that whole s AP field and just.kind of augmented with all of our.existing GIS data was the real reason.for going the direction we did great um.well I guess in another another question.that we would we'd laid out with what.were the what classes did you go through.to validate the s AP solution that your.met your need well it's the the.requirement we ended up validating it.with with it we knew it had to work.within our existing investments of s AP.and ESRI so again I feel like I'm.repeating myself a lot but that that's.what it end up being there we said it.had to be simple and it's kind of a.relative term there is a lot of work to.make things simple so it took a lot of.configuration a lot of time a lot of.thing to get it to where it is now and.you know many would say it's not.understand perfect either at this point.either in fact we have plenty of.equipment records that we don't have.going through the jewelry process that.we still need to start implementing but.you know what we have now this is what.we tried to do within that first project.so simple basically in the end meaning.low maintenance once is up and running.just kind of let it be and then the.number one part was how is this going to.help us reduce errors like I said with.the building portion choosing the right.sewer jurisdiction and whether it's.inside or outside of city limits for tax.reasons that that was a huge problem and.immediately affixed and this is helped a.lot sinking the about very valuable.information of ties between sa PNG is.that was pretty important and now we.don't need double entry on that portion.I think it's the hurdle I didn't hear.anybody mention that during the other.demos but we the Enterprise GIS system.being ESRI uses geometric network.functionality so during all of our.conversations of our are going to Julian.and the workflows that it was going to.take was how does this impact the.enterprise yes we have now and because.of the geometric network all of your.geometry has a nice sort of information.that participate in the geometric have.to happen in ESRI with arcmap editing so.that that hurt that took a little bit of.getting some people that rule right.there basically established what.direction are workflows were going to be.so when a gas solver hydrant valve is.going to be put into our distribution.system that record process has to start.in our GIS department they are the ones.initial creators the goe process creates.the equipment record NS AP and then from.there the plant maintenance personnel.can enter all the equipment information.and establish the maintenance plan and.from there the location of the work.orders is derived from the location of.the equipment today that process take.you time to as you.the SVP folks on kind of some of those.underlying gif functions and I'm not.sure the cross section of the audience.on this webinar but you know it sound.like you had a lot of discussion in.front of system of creation system of.record and reasons why it would be an.essay P versus gif yeah exactly and to.this day we still have a little bit of.Education Assaf and as people kind of.rotate through responsibilities we have.to reallocate them on what fields mean.what in each system but the I think I'm.going to banter a couple questions here.too is it the biggest benefit of that is.before we started yoga process the GIS.department they would also have to learn.sav to create those equipment records.and then just copy and paste the.equipment number in the GIS to kind of.help that synchronization now they don't.have to do that they just do their work.in GIS they don't have to learn SAV and.then the SI p users plant maintenance.guys they don't have to go and learn.arcmap or any of those Jets functions.because they get to stay in the SI p.environment and have a map in their.hands within that environment and don't.have to you know learn creating a.version and editing in GIS at all so.okay let that benefit there was huge.which kind of mitigated any other.arguments that they might have for.against doing this is that well look.guys were going to cut back on the.programs you have to learn which they.really liked that yeah yeah man I think.we covered a bunch of the questions that.we had talked about in them I'll throw.another one I eat it it wasn't on the.list but I hope it's not too hard you.know whatever what are kind of some of.the things that you're you want to add.or where do you think system to get a.move you said that you didn't have all.of your assets geo and they will get and.so there are their thoughts of doing.more around the different asset types or.additional functionality that you guys.are looking at moving forward yeah we.from that previous equipment record.database but we had there were other.equipments like our water valves and.then those water valves are split up.into different types whether they're.relief.or just Kate Jobs normal operational.valves and well we classify as calling.service valves those sets of records.were complete way out of whack they were.too far out of whack mismatch between.jazz and SAT to even implement it was.going to be more work to manage the.mismatched records as a messages get.passed between the systems so we opted.to not even proceed with that our.hydrant records we went ahead with it.because they were mismatched but not too.far off so we're still kind of managing.that we had that data cleanup to do.beyond those distribution pieces of.equipment I'm not sure if we're going to.go any farther on that and if so it.probably much much down the road there.there may be some spots when we actually.get into like actual plant maintenance.at our at our water treatment plants or.our LNG plant there might be some.enablement on other equipments their.work orders have kind of been a back and.forth conversation whether we need to do.all of our service orders have it have a.geometry stored in the goe database for.those or if we can do some on-the-fly.geocoding to premise points and just.doesn't have a nice point push out to.the work manager app those conversations.will happen later on right now we're in.kind of a stabilization mode for a lot.of the work manager stuff that we've.done yes yeah and I do want to point out.we didn't while we didn't discover it.talked about it specifically in this.webinar you know a lot of the to the the.do and able to admit you've done on s AP.and the back office is fed to your.mobile application so a lot of the same.kind of feature functions that Martin.showed you guys have available similar.functionality within work manager out in.the field so just a little bigger but we.know that a lot of us can get pushed out.onto the mobile devices as well so so.yeah I don't want to repeat some of the.questions we talked about ahead of time.so I think you touched on a lot of them.so you know Mike I think you're M seeing.this thing I don't know who want to open.it up for more questions for the general.audience I know that there was a couple.of questions that came in the.through Diana 1:1 specifically about a.bunch of the ESRI licensing I think.there's a lot of a lot of complexity.sometimes around the ESRI licensing most.of the time it this is all view only so.some of your you know just view only.licensing that you have with an ESRI is.going to work for GE F so you should.require any new complex licensing but we.can always chat one-on-one about that.the person put that question in and then.I think there's another question about.using amazing this June ailment for.storm damage assessment I think you know.it's all a matter of the business.processes you have a set up and SAT and.maybe I'll let Martin jump in on this.one too if you if you have work orders.or notifications set up with an S AP to.handle post storm assessments then this.can easily be kind of pushed out into.both the back-office in the field to.handle those types of things but did you.want to add anything to that one Martin.not right now I would say what's opening.it up for questioning to you what.specifics people have yeah today and I.think you maybe can unmute everyone if.we can have a little bit of a.free-for-all I don't think there's two.to holophone that's going to cause too.many issues but Diana may mute us you.show if you create a crown noise sounds.good.thanks Jamie and I haven't muted folks.if you want to send me a question via.the chat I'll make sure that if we don't.get to it during the call today that I.have someone follow up with you another.questions that we had was in regards to.the weather information is the weather.service included with the s AP products.or a separate subscription with third.parties Martin maybe you can answer that.one sure I can take that one and then I.think your poses one in chat window as.well so let's go into the weather.service first the weather layer that.we've that we've seen in my demo is.actually made available by the National.Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.so that the federally funded service.that you can do.easily make available so there's no.subscription necessary you just need to.know the link I'm an information and you.just configure it but again no.subscription necessary federally.provided I think for safety reasons so.if you are interested in you know the.details the URL just send us an email.and I'm happy to provide that to you so.that is all available on theme for the.information that you saw on the growth.that is publicly available through ESRI.there are some more there is some more.content that ESRI provides on a.subscription basis but the weather and.the information that you saw does not.require any any particular subscription.or service there was the weather piece.um then there was a question Diana that.you posted in the chat window can the.Geo app be used as a general basic jazz.viewer does it have the tool like.identify hyperlink see related records.attached facilities to pull that type of.stuff so yes the answer is pretty simple.- that it is essentially just a web.browser and a component in the web.browser so we have customers that.thinking about using it actively as sort.of a standalone web web component and.even they are publicly available on.website so you could use if you wanted.to use the GEF component and make it.available on the website with a.different security and authorization.profile to then limit the access or or.the functionality to whatever your.configure so all of that is possible um.and again happy to talk more about that.but to answer the question yes goe.can be used to other gf framework can be.used to just make it available if you.are to internal people or even external.customers ok Diana thank you.sounds good thanks Martin um I think.this one I'll throw this one back over.the fence to you too Martin um can a.user in the field that a new piece of.equipment while out in the field ah yes.what you can do is you can you can.enable functionality to essentially do a.right click on the map and then enable.enable new asset or create new asset.that's the editor functionality that I.didn't show you today so it can be done.I'm not quite out of the box.fully out of the box yet you need to you.need to sort of integrate it with an an.asset master record creation screen but.it can certainly be done from from in.the field and that's usually a good a.good way to to improve your master data.governance process to essentially put.responsibility into the field and allow.update and and creations of asset master.records hey thank you.Jamie I'll hand this one over to you.does jewelry support redline markups to.Schofield Corrections back to the G is.not not out of the box and that is that.is something that could potentially be.added I mean the viewer that you see is.an ESRI based JavaScript a excuse me.Java JavaScript application so you could.add that redlining capability we have.worked on some projects within work.manager when we've added redlining.capability so that you can actually send.either red light or create gif features.within that application and then send.back to your GIS department to qa/qc e.so that all of the bits and pieces from.NGS perspective are there to add that.capability but it's not it's not out of.a thanks day me I think for now that is.all of the questions that I'm seeing in.chat does anyone on the phone have any.questions that they'd like answered I do.have the contact us page up on the.screen with Martin Mike and Jamie's.email address as well as phone numbers.please feel free to reach out to them.directly and they can you know go into.further detail of of whatever questions.you might have for them.darris I know that you have quite a few.questions so I will have Jamie reach out.to you probably later today or tomorrow.all right I don't see any other.questions again please feel free to.reach out to any of the presenters today.Tommy I want to thank you for your.participation on our call we appreciate.you taking time out of your day to chat.with us and to share your experience.thank you you're very welcome.all right everyone have a great day.thank you.
